The Dufresne brand is one known the world over when it comes to providing high quality furniture and excellent service to our guests through our commitment of a better shopping experience. Founded in 1986 by long time entrepreneur Doug Dufresne, Dufresne Furniture & Appliances owns and operates 12 corporately owned stores located across the provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba, with an additional two franchise locations in Ontario. Dufresne partnered with Ashley Furniture Industries in 2005 to license the Ashley brand in Canada. Today we are the largest licensee of the Ashley brand in Canada, with 38 locations across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario. The Dufresne Group was created in 2008 as an umbrella company for Dufresne Furniture & Appliances and Ashley. The Dufresne Group also oversees our charity The Dufresne Foundation as we make it our goal to give back to the communities that support us.
